Sneak attack | IS*IS cells target the security square in eastern of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Gunmen of ISIS cells launched a sneak attack with machineguns targeting the security square of SDF in Al-Baseera City eastern of Deir Ezzor. However, no casualties were reported.

On the same context, the security and military forces of SDF mobilized in search of the assailants.

SOHR has documented 96 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 52 fatalities:
* 34 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.
* Five ISIS member.
* Nine civilians including a child.
* Four guards working with the Autonomous Administration.
These operations are distributed regionally as follows:
* Deir Ezzor: 77 attacks left 22 combatants, three members of ISIS and eight civilians including a child dead.
* Al-Hasakah: 11 attacks left six combatants, one civilian and two ISIS members dead.
* Al-Raqqah: Eight attacks left six combatants and four guards working with the Autonomous Administration dead.
