In support of his position by continuing peaceful movement | Dozens flock to visit Sheikh “Hikmat Al-Hijri” spiritual head of Unitarian Druze in Al-Suwaidaa

Al-Suwaidaa province: Today morning, dozens of residents of Al-Suwaidaa city flocked to Qanawat town, north of the city, to visit the spiritual head of the Unitarian Druze, Sheikh Hikmat Al-Hijri, to confirm support for his position calling for the continuation of the peaceful movement, and to express their determination to continue the protests demanding peaceful change and political transition in the country.
Yesterday, massive demonstrations were staged in Al-Suwaidaa city, to respond to the military build-ups brought by the regime forces to Al-Suwaidaa province, “after the incident of detaining officers” about a week ago, which was translated as a prelude to suppress the movement in the province.
Today, the demonstrators renewed their demands, on the 257th day since the start of the peaceful movement, to implement UN Resolution 2254, achieve a political transition and build a decentralized democratic national body that includes the Syrian fabric, with the presence and participation of the people of the province
