Aleppo | Child kil*led and his mother injured under direct shelling on residential buildings

A child was killed and his mother was injured severely, after regime forces fired artillery shells on their house in Al-Ebizmo Town in Aleppo countryside.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 181 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, gunfire by snipers, bombardment and drone attacks, which left 207 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 85 combatants, including a Turkish soldier, and 90 civilians, including 14 children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

• 18 civilians, including seven children and two women.

• 124 members of regime forces, including 11 officers.

• 57 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

• Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

• One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”

• One member of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”

• A foreign jihadist.
