While attempting to cross towards Turkey | Son of former leader in “Suleiman Shah” faction killed in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: A young man, who was the son of a former leader in “Suleiman Shah” faction, known as “Al-Amshat”, was killed, where his body was found murdered under a mysterious circumstance and dumped in Bulbul district in Afrin countryside, while he was attempting to cross the Syrian-Turkish border, without knowing the killer and the reasons and motives for it.
According to SOHR activists, the killed was the son of a former leader in “Al-Amshat” faction, who was killed on July 17, 2023, and his body was found murdered under a mysterious circumstance, and dumped on the road at the entrance to Jinderes town in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo, while his body showed signs of gunfire.
It is noted that the commander had previously had disputes with “Mohammed Al-Jasem” (Abu Amshah) the leader of the faction in 2021 in Libya, after he disclosed information about Abu Amshah’s involvement in drug dealing, raping and murder crimes, where a judicial committee was opened then to investigate those crimes, however, the faction paid sums of money to change the statements of the witnesses and deny charges against him.
The commander was also known of leading a group of kidnapping and drug dealing, and abusing Kurdish residents of Afrin. He had previously received threats from “Abu Amshah” and royalties had been imposed on him several times of more than 100 thousand USD each time.
