Arbitrarily | Turkish intelligence arrests three people and releases another in exchange for ransom in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: A civilian in his sixth decade, was arrested by members of a joint patrol of both Turkish Intelligence and Military Police, in a raid on his house in Tel Selo village in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside, on charges of dealing with the former Autonomous Administration, where he was taken to an unknown destination without knowing his fate.
Turkish intelligence also arrested another 46-year-old civilian, from Jinderes city, after his return to his hometown coming from areas of displacement, on charges of belonging to the Society Protection Force during the former rule of the Autonomous Administration, where he was taken to an unknown destination without knowing his fate.
A 42-year-old citizen from Kafar Dalah in Jinderes countryside was also arrested by the Turkish intelligence services, on charges of belonging to “Asayish” forces, after returning to his hometown from Iraqi Kurdistan.
On the other hand, a civilian from Maidanki village in Afrin countryside was released, after about 15-days detention, in exchange for a financial ransom of 4,000 USD. According to information obtained by SOHR activists, the civilian was arrested after returning to his hometown from Lebanon for the purpose of visiting.
This comes in light of the ongoing arbitrary arrests by Turkish intelligence services within “Olive Branch” areas.
