Two separate incidents | Officer kil*led by H*T*S and regime forces target civil car in “Putin-Erdogan” area

An officer ranked as “first lieutenant” was shot dead by members of HTS on the frontline of Kabana in Al-Akrad Mountain northern of Lattakia within “Putin-Erdogan” area.

On the same context, regime forces fired a guided missile on a civil car and a water tank in the vicinity of Ma’arat Al-Na’asan Town in northern Idlib countryside, causing only material damages.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 195 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, gunfire by snipers, bombardment and drone attacks, which left 220 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 89 combatants, including a Turkish soldier, and 91 civilians, including 14 children, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
* 20 civilians, including nine children and two women.
* 131 members of regime forces, including 11 officers.
* 60 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.
* Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.
* One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
* One member of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”
* A foreign jihadist
* A member of “Al-Hamzah” division.
