Following family disputes | Civilian shoots his brother de*ad in a neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: A civilian shot his brother dead due to disputes between members of the family at the junction of Kallash in Al-Aziziya Neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah within SDF-held areas.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 45 murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left 49 civilian fatalities, including 38 men, five children and six women; they are distributed regionally as follows:

Al-Hasakah: 17 civilians, including two children and three women.

Deir Ezzor: 16 civilians, including a child and a woman.

Al-Raqqah: 12 civilians, including two children and two women.

Aleppo: Three men; two men in Manbij and a man in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).
