Previously worked for SDF | “ISIS” cells kill young man in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: A young man was killed, after being directly shot by “ISIS” cells, in Jadeed Akidat town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, before fleeing to an unknown destination.
It is noted that he previously worked in the ranks of SDF before leaving his military work four months ago.

SOHR has documented 114 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 62 fatalities:

• 41 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

• Six ISIS members.

• Four guards worked for the Autonomous Administration.

• Ten civilians, including a child and a witch.

These operations are distributed regionally as follows:

• Deir Ezzor: 95 attacks left 29 combatants, nine civilians, including a child and a witch, and four ISIS members dead.

• Al-Hasakah: 11 attacks left six combatants, two ISIS members and a civilian dead.

• Al-Raqqah: eight attacks left six combatants and four guards of civil institutions of the Autonomous Administration dead.
