Supported by tribesmen, intellectuals and activists | Ongoing demonstrations confuse “Al-Julani” and spur him to besiege cities

Major cities in north-west Syria, including Idlib, Jisr Al-Shughour, Ariha, Binnish, Kafr Takharim and Maarrat Amsrin, have experienced deployment by security forces of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham at the entrances and on main roads of those cities.

This coincides with preparations for staging a new demonstration against HTS and its leader “Al-Julani,” amid support by representatives of several tribes, intellectuals, activists, sharia officials and other segments of the region’s society.

Anti-HTS protestors have called for specific demands to be fulfilled urgently, including starting real reformations, release innocent detainees, dismantling the General Security Service and starting military battles on frontline with regime forces in order to regain the control of more cities and towns.

The latest round of Demonstrations against HTS and “Al-Julani” continues for 87 days in different cities, towns and villages in north-west Syria, where the first demonstration was staged on February 25 in Sarmada city in the northern countryside of Idlib.
