New attack | IS*IS cells ki*ll five members of Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor Desert

Deir Ezzor province: Five members of local militias of the Iranian “Revolutionary Guards” were killed in the explosion of an IED planted by ISIS, when their car passed near Haribsha Checkpoint on the road between Deir Ezzor and Al-Sukhna.

Regime forces were mobilized in Homs and Deir Ezzor deserts and brought in military reinforcements in batches, to military sites and oil installations.
The vulnerable areas from which “ISIS” launches its operations, witnessed strict security measures by checkpoints in Homs and Deir Ezzor deserts, as the tenth anniversary of the “Caliphate State” approaches.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of fatalities in military operations in the Syrian desert since early 2024 has increased to 380; and they are as follows:
* 27 ISIS members were killed by regime forces and their proxy militias.
* 316 members of regime forces and their proxy militias, including 30 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen, were killed in 130 operations by ISIS members, including ambushes, armed attacks, and explosions, in west Euphrates region and the deserts of Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah, Homs.
* 37 civilians, including a child and a woman, were killed in attacks by ISIS in the Syrian desert.
Here is a regional distribution of ISIS attacks:
-Deir Ezzor desert: 46 operations left 125 fatalities:
* 99 combatants, including 12 Iranian-backed militiamen.
* Eight ISIS members.
* 18 civilians, including 17 truffle pickers, among them there was a woman.
-Homs desert: 57 operations left 166 fatalities:
* 140 combatants, including 12 Iranian-backed militiamen.
* 16 ISIS members.
* Ten civilians, including two truffle pickers.
-Al-Raqqah desert: 16 operations left 45 fatalities:
* 40 combatants, including two Iranian-backed militiamen.
* Three ISIS members.
* Two civilian truffle pickers.
-Hama desert: Nine operations left 38 fatality:
* 31 combatant, including an Iranian-backed militiaman.
* Seven civilians, including a child.
-Aleppo: Two operations left five combatants, including three Iranian-backed militiamen, dead
