Security chaos | Civilian kil*led by unidentified gu*nmen in eastern Daraa countryside

Daraa province: Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a civilian in Maliha Al-Atash Town in eastern Daraa countryside killing him immediately, before fleeing to an unknown destination.

The identities and motives of the gunmen remain unknown.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 132 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 143 fatalities: seven children, 21 women and 115 young and adult men. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

• Daraa: 40 murder crimes left 34 men, three children and eight women dead.

• Al-Suwaidaa: 11 murder crimes left nine men a little boy and a woman dead.

• Rif Dimashq: 29 murder crimes left 25 men, two children and seven women dead.

• Homs: 14 murder crimes left 13 men and a little girl dead.

• Hama: Eight murder crimes left eight men dead.

• Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two men dead.

• Deir Ezzor: Eight murder crimes left seven men and a woman dead.

• Damascus: Five murder crimes left two women and three men dead.

• Latakia: Five murder crimes left five men and a woman dead.

• Tartus: Six murder crimes left five men dead.

• Al-Quneitra: One murder crime left a man dead.

• Aleppo: Three murder crimes left a woman and two men dead.
