After his death in military operation | SDF hands over body of young man and SOHR demands trial of murd*erers

Deir Ezzor province: SDF handed over the body of a young man who was shot by members of a military patrol in Zaiban in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, after being injured when the patrol stormed his house searching for him.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the patrol aimed to arrest him after receiving information that he was inside the house, where he lived in regime-held areas after secretly returning to the area three months ago, where clashes erupted between them during the operation and he was shot and taken to the US Field Hospital in Al-Omar Field, where he died in the hospital and an autopsy was performed on his body.

Local doubts erupted after the body was handed over, regarding the reasons of the autopsy and the possibility that his organs were stolen.

SOHR calls on the leadership of SDF to prosecute and hold those who killed him accountable, and to form an independent medical committee to ensure that his organs were not stolen.
