Aleppo | State of high tension and high alert in Afrin following assaulting of woman and her child

Aleppo province: Members of pro-Turkey faction “Al-Sultan Murad,” severely beat a widow from “Al-Boushaban” tribe and her 13-year-old child, yesterday, due to a fight among children in Deir Sawan village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a leader from “Al-Sultan Murad” faction ordered his members to beat the woman and her child, because the woman’s son fought with the leader’s son. Following the assault of the woman, “Al-Boushaban” tribe sent large military reinforcement to Deir Sawan village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside, from Afrin and Azaz cities.

Meanwhile, some influential parties and notables from “Al-Boushaban” tribe and the Al-Hayb tribe, to which the leader of  “Al-Sultan Murad” Division belongs, intervened to avoid armed clashes between both sides.

They agreed to hand over “Al-Sultan Murad” Division members to the military police in exchange for the withdrawal of  “Al-Boushaban” tribe’s military reinforcement from Deir Sawan.
