Involved in drug business | Regime security services arrest NDF commander in Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor province: A regime military patrol stormed, yesterday evening, the house of a commander of the National Defence Forces in Al-Jourah neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city. The patrol’s members arrested the commander and took him to a security centre for involving in illicit drug business.

It is worth noting that the arrested commander is close to “Firas Iraqiyah” the leader of NDF, and he had been subjected to an assassination attempt which failed then when his patrol resisted the attackers and clashes with them.

On June 13, SOHR sources reported that regime forces arrested two members of Jaysh Al-Ashayer which is backed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in Al-Wadi street in Deir Ezzor city, where illicit drugs were found on their possession. The two militiamen were taken to a security centre.
