Idlib | Four civilians injured during armed clashes between two families in northern countryside

Idlib province: Four civilians were injured in armed clashes between two families following disputes between them, which evolved to the use of weapons in Kafr Roma camp on the vicinity of Kalali town in northern Idlib countryside.

 

Meanwhile, a person attacked a car belonging to the police, while heading to the site of the infighting to beak up the clashes.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that armed clashes with light and medium weapons renewed between “Tahhan” and “Hamadi” families in Taftanaz town in Idlib countryside in north-western Syria within HTS-held area.

 

The clashes left two people injured, amid a state of panic among civilians and calls upon the security authorities and notables from the region to break up the clashes.

 

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 34 incidents of security disorder in areas controlled by HTS and opposition factions in Idlib city and surrounding villages. These incidents left 25 people dead and 59 others injured. The fatalities are distributed as follows:

 

  • 21 civilians, including four women and a child.

 

  • A member of the Turkistan Islamic Party

 

  • Two members of HTS.

 

  • A member of Al-Sham Corps.
