Since early June | Child among 29 people killed and wounded in 20 attacks in “de-escalation zone”

The “de-escalation zone” experiences frequent exchange of attacks between opposition factions, mainly Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, on one hand, and regime forces and Iranian-backed militias on the other.

 

In this context, SOHR documented 20 attacks carried out in the “de-escalation zone” since early June, where those attacks left 22 fatalities and seven regime soldiers injured.

 

The fatalities are distributed as follows:

 

  • Three civilians, including a child.

 

  • 14 regime soldiers.

 

  • Three HTS members.

 

  • One member of the “Thowwar Al-Sham” Battalion which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.

 

  • A jihadist of Turkish descent.
