“De-escalation zone” | Member of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room killed in regime artillery fire on frontline in western Hama countryside

A member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr”  faction, which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin,” was killed in regime artillery fire on the frontlines of Al-Sarmaneiyah and Zayzun in Hama countryside.

 

It is worth noting that the member hailed from Basaqlah village in Idlib countryside.

 

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 232 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, gunfire by snipers, bombardment and drone attacks, which left 259 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 101 combatants, including a Turkish soldier, and 99 civilians, including a woman and 17 children, injured.

 

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

 

  • 25 civilians, including 12 children and two women.

 

  • 155 members of regime forces, including 12 officers.

 

  • 63 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

 

  • Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

 

  • Two members of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”

 

  • One member of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”

 

  • Two foreign jihadist, including a Turkish jihadist

 

  • A member of “Al-Hamzah” Division.

 

  • Three members of “Al-Sham Corps.”

 

  • One member of the “Public Resistance” which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.

 

  • One member of the “Thowwar Al-Sham” Battalion which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.
