For “honour” | Civilian kil*ls his sister in northern of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: A civilian shot his sister dead with his weapon for “honour” in Al-Muwazafin Neighbourhood in Al-Qamishly City northern of Al-Hasakah.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 62 murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left 65 civilian fatalities, including 50 men, seven children and nine women; they are distributed regionally as follows:

Al-Hasakah: 21 civilians, including two children and four women.

Deir Ezzor: 24 civilians, including two children and three women.

Al-Raqqah: 17 civilians, including three children and two women.

Aleppo: Four men; three men in Manbij and a man in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).
