Dea*th toll update | Four members of regime forces kil*led in IS*IS attack on military position

Homs province: Three officers of different ranks were killed in an attack by members of ISIS on a military checkpoint of the regime forces in the vicinity of Tel Shehab area eastern of Jab Al-Jirah district in eastern Homs countryside.

Accordingly, the number of members of the regime killed has risen to four.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of fatalities in military operations in the Syrian desert since early 2024 has increased to 449; and they are as follows:

– 29 ISIS members, three of whom were killed in Russian airstrikes and the others were killed by regime forces and their proxy militias.

– 376 members of regime forces and their proxy militias, including 33 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen and three members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, were killed in 155 operations by ISIS members, including ambushes, armed attacks, and explosions, in west Euphrates region and the deserts of Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah, Homs.

– 44 civilians, including a child, a sorcerer and a woman, were killed in attacks by ISIS in the Syrian Desert.

Here is a regional distribution of ISIS attacks:

-Deir Ezzor desert: 52 operations left 136 fatalities:

100 combatants, including 12 Iranian-backed militiamen.

Eight ISIS members.

19 civilians, including 17 truffle pickers, among them there was a woman.

-Homs desert: 73 operations left 220 fatalities:

186 combatants, including 15 Iranian-backed militiamen.

18 ISIS members.

16 civilians, including two truffle pickers.

-Al-Raqqah desert: 17 operations left 46 fatalities:

41 combatants, including two Iranian-backed militiamen.

Three ISIS members.

Two civilian truffle pickers.

-Hama desert: 11 operations left 42 fatality:

35 combatant, including an Iranian-backed militiaman.

Seven civilians, including a child.

-Aleppo: Two operations left five combatants, including three Iranian-backed militiamen, dead
