To investigate security crimes | “Salvation Government” establishes new criminal court in Idlib

The “Salvation Government” of HTS established the “second criminal court” in Idlib north western of Syria to investigate security crimes.

The “Salvation Government” announced that the court will have jurisdiction over security crimes, provided that the Supreme Judicial Council issues regulations regulating the work of the court.

This comes in light of residents accusing the “Salvation Government” of “failure of judiciary as the punishment was affected by the affiliation of the punished person to HTS, disappearance of detainees and the torturing of the detainees by HTS and the security service.

Protests have been ongoing against HTS and its leader Al-Golany for over four months, demanding the dissolution of the General Security Service, release of detainees, improvement of life conditions and cancellation of taxes.
