SOHR denies announcement by “Turkish Ministry of Defence” regarding exec*ution of members of Kurdish forces in Aleppo and confirms de*ath of civilian

SOHR sources denied what the Turkish Ministry of Defence announced regarding “execution of members of Kurdish forces northern of Syria.”

In an official statement, the Turkish Ministry of Defence announced that its forces managed to execute three members of Kurdish forces in the “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” areas northern of Syria.

Moreover, SOHR sources also denied the announcement by the Turkish Ministry of Defence on 25 and 29 of June, regarding the execution of four other members in the “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” areas.

SOHR sources confirmed that no attacks were monitored in “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” areas during that period, while battle frontlines witness alarming calm, coinciding with the opening of Abo Al-Zandin Crossing with Turkish-Russian agreement.

Meanwhile, Turkish shelling on areas of Manbij Military Council led to the death of a civilian, where members of the Turkish-backed “National Army” clashed with the Manbij Military Council with machineguns in Mazra’at Al-Darj Village in Manbij countryside on June 28, where a civilian was killed and another civilian from Hassan Agha Village was severely injured in the head.

On June 29, a kamikaze drone of Turkish forces and their factions targeted a military position of Manbij Military Council of SDF, in Toukhar Village in northern Manbij countryside eastern of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.

Moreover, Turkish forces and their factions stationed in “Euphrates Shield” areas fired over 20 artillery shells on Toukhar Al-Jat Village north eastern of Manbij.
