For “rejecting rac*ism and normalization” | Military Police arrest three including member of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” in “Peace Spring” area

Al-Hasakah province: The Military Police arrested three people including two civilians and a member of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah” of the “National Army” during a raid on their houses in Ras Al-Ain City within “Peace Spring” area north western of Al-Hasakah.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the three arrested people were taken to Turkish territory for “protesting against Turkey” following the protests against racism committed against Syrian refugees and the normalization with the Syrian regime, in Ras Al-Ain City, amid information regarding the continuation of arrest campaign against those who participated in the latest protests.

On July 10, the Military Police arrested six civilians including a minor under instructions by Turkish Intelligence, during a raid operation on their houses and work places in Tel Abyad City northern of Al-Raqqa for “criticizing the cut of internet and closure of roads by Turkey”, where the civilians put out posts on social media platforms regarding the events, following the racist actions committed against Syrians in Turkey and the protests condemning these actions.
