Demanding ransom | Gang kid*naps Syrian elder in Lebanon

A kidnapping gang in Lebanon sent a video of a Syrian elder from Armanaz City in Idlib countryside, to his family and demanded 9,000 USDs for his release.

The video shows the elder man naked and his body shows signs of torture, and he calls his family to pay the ransoms and release him.

On April, SOHR sources reported that a kidnapping gang in Lebanon released a Syrian young man from Mahkan town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, who was kidnapped days ago on Jabal Lebanon Hospital Street in order to obtain a ransom. The young man was subjected to brutal torture during his kidnapping, including electric shocks and sending recorded videos to his family to exert pressure on them to pay the ransom. The kidnappers asked the relatives of the kidnapped young men to pay 25,000 USD , but an agreement was reached for 10,000 USD, where they gave the family a 24-hour deadline to pay the amount or they will kill the young man.
