Military Police arrest two civilians | Violent clashes erupt for the release of civilians in Al-Bab City

Aleppo province: Members of the Military Police in Al-Bab City eastern of Aleppo arrested two civilians for “participating in protests against Turkey”, and took them to Turkey and their fates remain unknown.

On the same context, protesters gathered in front of the Military Police Branch demanding the release of the civilians, and the members opened fire to disperse the protesters and clashes erupted between the protesters and members of the Military Police with light and medium weapons, while the clashes are still ongoing. However, no casualties were reported.

On July 6, the Military Police arrested nine people including two members of “Ahrar Al-Sham” Faction for different charges such as “burning Turkish trucks, attacking Bab Al-Salama Border Crossing, burning the Turkish flag and attacking Jarablus Crossing”, where the arrests took place in A’zaz, Jarablus and Al-Bab Cities in eastern Aleppo countryside, in light of ongoing protests and chaos in areas of Turkish forces in “Euphrates Shield” areas rejecting the racist campaigns against Syrian refugees in several cities and Turkish states.
