Artillery fire and drone attacks | Regime forces attack Turkish military posts and positions in villages and towns in Idlib countryside
Five kamikaze drones belonging to regime forces attacked two Turkish military posts in Al-Salihiyah village and Sarmin town, while five other drones attacked positions in the surrounding areas of Sarmin town. The attack caused damage to several civil cars and agricultural machineries, but no casualties have been reported.
Turkish forces managed to shoot down one of the drones, using machineguns.
Moreover, regime forces fired artillery shells on Sarmin town and Hursh Bayanin, along with mortar fire on the surrounding areas of the villages of Majazer, Maarrat Alya and Afes in the eastern countryside of Idlib.
Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a military patrol of the Turkish forces was directly attacked with an artillery shell and heavy machineguns from areas of regime, Iranian and Russian forces, while the patrol was moving between Al-Nairab and Sarmin Towns. However, no casualties were reported.
