Following kidnapping of child | Tension grows between “Al-Mawali” and “Al-Asasenah” tribes in north-western Syria

SOHR sources have reported that Al-Mawali tribe experienced a state of high alert in Idlib city within HTS-held areas and in the areas of “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” which are controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies, after an armed group from “Al-Asasenah” tribe had kidnapped a child from “Al-Mawali” tribe in Al-Wadeihei camp in northern Deir Hassan in Idlib countryside.
According to reliable SOHR sources the child was tortured and beaten by members of the group.

On July 16, SOHR sources reported that a young man was kidnapped from in front of a bakery by members of an armed gang who were on a vehicle in Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside within areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies, while the identities of the kidnappers and their demands are still unknown.
