Security chaos | Residents find body of young man kil*led by unidentified people in Manbij

Aleppo province: Residents found the body of a young man shot dead by unidentified gunmen, near the sheep market in Manbij City within areas of Manbij Military Council in eastern Aleppo countryside, with no information regarding details of the crime.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 87 murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left 92 civilian fatalities, including 68 men, 11 children and 13 women; they are distributed regionally as follows:

Al-Hasakah: 28 civilians, including four children and five women.

Deir Ezzor: 33 civilians, including three children and four women.

Al-Raqqah: 22 civilians, including four children and three women.

Aleppo: Nine civilians; seven men and a woman in Manbij and a man in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).
