Arbitrarily | Regime forces arrest two young men from Afrin displaced people in Aleppo

Aleppo province: On August 2, members of the “Fourth Division” led by “Maher Al-Assad” arrested a young man in his twenties from Bashmara village, in Afrin city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, while he was passing through one of the checkpoints “Al-Awaridah checkpoint” on the outskirts of Al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighbourhood in Aleppo city, and he was taken to the branch of the “General Intelligence” administration in Aleppo city, while the reasons for the arrest and the fate of the young man remain unknown.
In a related context, members of a checkpoint of the “Political Security” division arrested a civilian displaced from Afrin who works as a food truck driver at the entrance to Aleppo city, without knowing the charges against him.
Yesterday, members of the Military Intelligence Department arbitrarily arrested two young men in Rif Dimashq, the first was arrested while heading to Assal Al-Ward Town in Rif Dimashq and was taken to an unknown destination, while the other was arrested in Al-Qalmoun countryside, with no information regarding the reasons behind the arrest of the young men
