Ongoing uprising | Dozens of people participate in protest in Al-Karamah square, demanding implementation of UN Resolution No.2254

Al-Suwaidaa province: Dozens of people from Al-Suwaidaa city gathered in Al-Karamah square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, demanding peaceful change and political transition of power in Syria, the implementation of UN Resolution No.2254 and achieving justice.

The protesters lifted placards with slogans written on them that read: “from Al-Suwaidaa.. a Revolution for all Syrians,” “our peaceful approach is our way to salvation,” “the ideal state is the state of law and institutions, not a state of individuals and agents.”

On July 28, SOHR sources reported that dozens of civilians participated today in a new popular demonstration at Al-Karama square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, expressing their solidarity with the families of people who were killed in a missile attack in Majdal Shams village in the occupied Syrian Golan.

Both Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah exchanged accusations of being responsible for the attack which left 12 civilians, mostly children, dead. The demonstrators lifted placards with slogans written on them that read, “Majdal Shams has not and will not bow down,” “our people in Majdal Shams; our suffering is one.”
