Second in 24 hours | Turkish drone targets military post in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: Today, a Turkish drone targeted a military post of SDF in Jabal Abdul Aziz area in the south-western countryside of Al-Hasakah. However, no causalities were reported.

This is the second time within 24 hours that Turkish drones has targeted sites in Al-Hasakah countryside. 

Since early 2024, the Syrian Observatory has reported 88 airstrikes carried out by Turkish drones on different positions in areas controlled by Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria (AANES). These attacks killed 28 persons and injured over 26 combatants and 16 civilians, including three women and three children.

The fatalities are distributed as follows:

24 members of military formations operating in SDF-controlled areas.

Three regime soldiers.

One civilian.

Al-Hasakah: 63 airstrikes left three regime soldiers, 17 combatants and one civilian dead.

Al-Raqqah: Four airstrikes left three combatants dead.

Aleppo: 21 airstrikes left four combatants dead
