Ras Al-Ain | Guards of Turkish base ki*ll member of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” and injure three civilians

The body of a member of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” Faction of the “National Army” was found dumped on the M4 Road near the earthen berm in Mabrouka area in Al-Hasakah countryside, where he died after being shot by guards of the Turkish base near the electricity station in Ras Al-Ain in “Peace Spring” area, where he refused to work in smuggling humans under instructions of the Turkish guards, while three civilians were injured with one of which in critical condition.

Accordingly, the number of civilians killed by Turkish border guards (Jandarma) since early 2024 in different areas near the Syria-Turkey border has increased to 12. In addition, 28 civilians, including a little girl, were injured in gunfire by Turkish Jandarma in the same period. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Areas controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposition factions: Six civilians, including a child.

Areas controlled by “Peace Spring” operations room: Two civilians.

Areas controlled by “Manbij Military Council Forces”: One civilian.

SDF-controlled areas: three civilians: Two in Kobani and one in Al-Hasakah countryside.
