Following attack on positions near Al-Omar oil field base | Coalition Forces bring in military reinforcement to their bases in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that convoys belonging to International Coalition Force headed to the military bases in Deir Ezzor countryside, under protection by helicopters.

 

The convoys came from Al-Hasakah and comprised 12 military and armoured vehicles and 20 trucks carrying military and logistical equipment.

 

This comes after the attack that carried out by Iranian-backed militias stationed on the eastern Euphrates river bank in Deir Ezzor on positions near Al-Omar oil field base.

 

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that US warplanes targeted, with machineguns, posts where local Iranian-backed gunmen are stationed on the western bank of the Euphrates River, adjacent to Mahkan station opposite the town of Thibyan in Deir Ezzor countryside, while no causalities were reported.
