Ongoing violations | Turkish-backed gunmen fell more than 200 olive trees and take over houses
Aleppo province: Turkish-backed gunmen felled 200 olive trees in Qatma Village in Shira district in Afrin countryside, where the trees belong to civilians from the village, and felled 27 trees in Baliya Village in Bulbul district, where the trees belong to a forcibly displaced person to areas in northern Aleppo countryside.
On the same context, members of “Al-Sultan Suleiman Shah” and “Al-Hamzat” Factions took over a house n Al-Ashrafiya neighbourhood in Afrin City, where the house belongs to a civilian from Jaya Village in Afrin countryside, and accused the civilian of “previously belonging to the Internal Security Forces Al-Asayesh.”
Meanwhile, “Al-Amshat” Faction expelled a civilian from his house in Al-Zaidiya neighbourhood in Afrin City by force, to give the house to a gunman and his family for 50 USDs per month.
While members of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah” Faction sold a house in Afrin City that belongs to a civilian from Khalnir Village in Afrin countryside, to a member of the same faction, for 1,500 USDs.
Moreover, the same faction imposed 5,000 USDs as royalties on a contractor from Maidana Village in Afrin countryside, where the building is located on the highway in Afrin City.
