After negotiations between Russian officers and SDF failed | Latter controls regime-backed village near military regiment in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: “SDF” and the internal security forces “Asayish” took control of Mujeibrah village in Al-Hasakah countryside and two checkpoints for the regime forces in the vicinity of the village, and expelled the regime-backed gunmen from it, and the military forces are now on the outskirts of Kawkab military regiment, within which the regime forces are stationed, after violent clashes and mutual shelling with heavy weapons and artillery after midnight on Friday-Saturday, while cautious calm returned to the area this morning.
The villages in Jabal Kawkab are considered areas where gangs of robbery are widespread, and the residents complain of chaos in them, in light of the control of the regime-backed gunmen.
The clashes came after the failure of the meeting held yesterday, Friday. However, no causalities were reported.
Yesterday, SOHR reported the return of the Russian delegation to Hamimim Military Airport from Al-Qamishly Airport in Al-Hasakah countryside, after failure of the meeting between head of Russian forces and Russian officers with representatives of SDF, discussing the lift of the siege imposed by SDF on the security squares in Al-Hasakah and Al-Qamishly.

On August 7, special security units of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” brought military reinforcements including heavy weapons and members to Al-Qamishli city in the countryside of Al-Hasakah, and deployed in the vicinity of the security zone, as a precautionary measure to prevent tensions in the region.
These reinforcements come after the security alert and closing all roads leading to the security zones in both Al-Hasakah and Al-Qamishli cities, where members of the regime forces and the “National Defence” militia are stationed
