With renewed attacks and shelling on villages east of Euphrates for fourth day | Military commander in Al-Hefel groups killed

Deir Ezzor province: The commander of the Al-Boujamel Brigade, one of the formations of the Iranian-backed local Al-Hefel groups, was killed by “SDF” while trying to infiltrate Thiban town and attack “SDF” headquarters, at dawn today.
Violent clashes erupted near Huwayjah Fheiman in the vicinity of Al-Mayadeen city between Iranian-backed gunmen on the one hand, and SDF stationed on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River on the other hand, amidst mutual artillery shelling on areas held by both parties.
Meanwhile, shells fired by local gunmen and regime forces at dawn today, fell on the neighbourhoods of Al-Busayrah city, east of Deir Ezzor, causing material damage to civilian property.
This comes as a continuation of the attacks that began at midnight of Tuesday-Wednesday, August 7.
Areas in the Deir Ezzor countryside are witnessing tumultuous events due to the escalation of attacks by the local Iranian-backed militias stationed on the western bank of the Euphrates River on SDF-held areas, which resulted in the killing of civilians.
Yesterday, SOHR reported the killing of 11people, including women and six children, in a massacre committed by local Iranian-backed militias in Al-Dahlah village in Deir Ezzor countryside, where it was intensively targeted with mortar shells and heavy artillery.
