After mysteriously disappearing | Civilian shot dead in Daraa countryside

Daraa province: Residents found the body of a civilian from Khirbat Ghazalah village in Daraa countryside, who was shot in the head area on the international road, hours after his mysterious disappearance while heading to Ibtaa town. According to information, the killed was a civilian and does not belong to any military entity in the area.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 204 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 224 fatalities: 11 children, 41 women and 171 young and adult men. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Daraa: 66 murder crimes left 60 men, five children and 12 women dead.

Rif Dimashq: 40 murder crimes left 32 men, three children and ten women dead.

Homs: 22 murder crimes left 20 men, a little girl and two women dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: 19 murder crimes left 13 men, a little boy and six women dead.

Hama: 12 murder crimes left ten men and two women dead.

Tartus: Ten murder crimes left eight men, a child and a woman dead.

Deir Ezzor: Ten murder crimes left eight men and two women dead.

Damascus: Seven murder crimes left two women and six men dead.

Latakia: Seven murder crimes left seven men and a woman dead.

Aleppo: Eight murder crimes left five men and three women dead.

Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two men dead.

Al-Quneitra: One murder crime left a man dead.
