Monitoring movements in region | Coalition’s helicopters fly over 55-kilometre de-confliction zone

SOHR sources have reported that helicopters belonging to International Coalition Forces flew at a low altitude over Al-Rukban camp and the 55-kilometre de-confliction zone at the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border triangle to monitor and track movements in the area.

On April 26, SOHR activists reported frequent flights by International Coalition helicopters over the 55 kilometre de-confliction zone near the border triangle between Syria, Iraq and Jordan, after a Russian fighter jet having approached the airspace of the region, while executing airstrikes on ISIS positions to the east of the 55 kilometre de-confliction zone.
