Tartous | Girl kidn*apped and gang demands 500,000,000 Syrian Liras for her release

Tartous province: A 12 year-old girl was kidnapped by members of an armed gang while she was going to buy goods in Al-Safsafa Town in Tartous countryside in regime-held areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, members of the gang contacted the girl’s family and demanded a ransom of 500,000,000 Syrian Liras to release her, and her fate remains unknown.

The girl’s family made a humanitarian appeal to concerned authorities to interfere and reveal the fate of the girl and hold members of the gang responsible.

On August 5, a gang released a veterinarian from Bahm Village in eastern Al-Suwaydaa countryside hours after kidnapping him, for 40,000 USDs ransoms.
