Major mobilization | Regime forces demand the release of 20 prisoners including officers

Security mobilization took place in Al-Qamishly, amid extensive deployment of members of the regime on checkpoints and inside the security square in Al-Qamishly to pressure “SDF” and “Al-Asayesh” to release 20 prisoners including two officers ranked as brigadier general, who were arrested on different times on security checkpoints coinciding with a siege on the security squares in Al-Qamishly and Al-Hasakah.

Tension continued for the fifth consecutive day between regime forces sieged in the security square in Al-Qamishly and Al-Hasakah on one hand, and the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” that siege the security square on the other hand, after failure of negotiations with Russia and the withdrawal of the delegation towards Hamimim Base, while regime forces brought five tanks from the 54th Regiment to Zanoud neighbourhood to support the forces sieged in the security square, amid information regarding the deployment of snipers on roofs of buildings in Al-Zanoud neighbourhood opposite to areas of SDF and “Al-Asayesh” that brought major reinforcements to positions.
