For first time since 7 years | “SDF” approaches Tehran-Beirut artery east of Deir Ezzor killing and capturing 15 in clashes with Iranian-backed groups

Deir Ezzor province: After midnight on Sunday-Monday, groups of SDF infiltrated into Al-Bulil village within the areas held by the Iranian militias and clashed with members of a military post for the Iranian-backed local groups. The clashes resulted in the execution of seven members of the groups by the attacking forces.
Similar confrontations also erupted in the villages of Al-Kashmah and Al-Duweir near Al-Bokamal city within the areas controlled by the Iranian militias in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor near the Syrian artery on Tehran-Beirut road, resulting in the killing of at least two gunmen and the injury of others, and the attacking forces were able to capture six of the injured.
The infiltration of SDF and the violent clashes came after the killing of five members of the Iranian-backed militias and the injury of others yesterday, where five Iranian-backed militiamen were killed and others were injured, some seriously, in an attack by an unknown drone which targeted their military vehicle in an area between Al-Kashmah and Al-Duwayr villages in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, near the Syria-Iraq border.
It is noted that this is the first time since 2017 that SDF have been able to reach these strategic areas near the Syrian artery of Tehran-Beirut road.
