Coming from Al-Qamishli airport | Russian delegation arrives in Al-Hasakah to discuss lifting siege on two security zones and calming situation with “SDF”

Al-Hasakah province: A Russian delegation including a number of officers headed via two military vehicles to the security zone in Al-Hasakah city, coming from Al-Qamishli airport, to meet with the governor of Al-Hasakah and military leaders from the regime forces, to discuss the mechanism for calming the situation with SDF and lifting the siege on the two security zones in Al-Qamishli and Al-Hasakah.
This came after the failure of the meeting held on August 9, that included the head of Russian forces, Russian officers and representatives of SDF, discussing the lift of the siege imposed by SDF on the security squares in Al-Hasakah and Al-Qamishly.
Yesterday, security mobilization took place in Al-Qamishly, amid extensive deployment of members of the regime on checkpoints and inside the security square in Al-Qamishly to pressure “SDF” and “Al-Asayesh” to release 20 prisoners including two officers ranked as brigadier general, who were arrested on different times on security checkpoints coinciding with a siege on the security squares in Al-Qamishly and Al-Hasakah.
