After targeting US base | “SDF” targets Iran-backed local gunmen in western Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SDF fired machineguns on Iran-backed gunmen on the bank of Euphrates River in the area between Hawayej Ziyab and Zagheer in western Deir Ezzor countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

Iran-backed groups stationed on the western bank of Euphrates River shelled the area of the US base in Koniko Gas Field, with sounding of sirens and a state of mobilization in the base. However, no casualties were reported.

SOHR activists have documented the death of 45 people during six days of continuous escalation between SDF and Iran-backed gunmen in Deir Ezzor countryside, who are:

* 18 civilians including eight children.

* Two members of SDF.

* 17 members of Iran-backed local gunmen.

* Eight members of Iran-backed militias.

Meanwhile, 48 civilians and seven military combatants were injured.
