Demanding toppling of “Al-Julani” and Syrian regime | Dozens of people participate in protests in several cities and towns in northern Syria

Hundreds of people participated in demonstrations in the city of Idlib and the towns of Ariha, Armanaz, Qurqaneiya, Killi, Deir Hassan, Aqrabat camp, Kafr Lousein camp, “southern Aleppo countryside” camp in Idlib countryside and Azaz city in northern Aleppo countryside.

 

The protesters demanded the overthrow of the Syrian regime and its government, expressed their rejecting of the normalization of relations with the regime and rapprochement between the Syrian and Turkish regimes, renewed their demands of the toppling of “Al-Julani” the leader of HTS, the stopping of repression practiced by the General Security Service, the independence of the judiciary. The protestors also expressed their rejection of HTS interference in civil institutions and called for the release of detainees.

 

Protesters in Binnish city in Idlib countryside, lifted placards with slogans written on them that read “leave, Binnish will knock you,” “you get upset when we call you ‘shabiha’ (regime loyalist who abuse power), then simply do not act like shabiha.”

 

On August 13, SOHR sources reported that civilians went out in the centre of Idlib, Armanaz and Deir Hassan in the countryside, and Al-Atareb in western Aleppo countryside to protest against “Al-Golany”, demanding the departure of “Al-Golany” and his security service and the release of the prisoners.
