Violent clashes in the vicinity of Dahiyat al-Assad and south of the capital Damascus

Damascus Province:

The regime forces renewed the shelling on areas at Jobar neighborhood at the outskirts of the capital, which witnessed over the past months clashes between the regime forces, NDF and Hezbollah against the Islamic Factions and Al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda in the Levant), clashes also renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions at the outskirts of the al-Yarmouk camp south of the capital amid mutual shelling, while the regime forces bombed areas in the south of the capital, no information about casualties.

 

Rif Dimashq Province:

Several shells landed on areas in al-Wafedin camp near the city of Douma, and information reported injuries, while a young man from the town of Beit Shahem died, and activists from the town accused the regime forces of beating him to death on a checkpoint for the regime forces in the entrance of the town located at the south countryside of Damascus, while a member of the gunmen loyal to the regime was killed during the ongoing violent clashes between the Islamic Factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the vicinity of Dahiyat al-Assad.
