In search of three fleeing prisoners of IS*IS | Security units of SDF and the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” launch security operation

Al-Raqqa province: Special security units of SDF and the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” continue searching for the three fleeing prisoners of ISIS in Al-Raqqa City, where the forces launched a security campaign in Ramila neighbourhood near the central prison in search of the prisoners, who fled while they were being transported from one prison to another.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that five prisoners of different nationalities escaped while being moved from Al-Matahein Prison, which is under the General Security in Al-Raqqah, to another prison. The security forces managed to arrest two of them, one of Pakistani nationality and the other Azerbaijani, while three others fled to an unknown destination.
According to reliable SOHR sources one of the escaped prisoners is Canadian, the second is Russian and the third is Libyan.
Meanwhile, the security forces were put on high alert, imposed a cordon around the prison and patrols were deployed in the area to search for the escapees.
