Military escalation | Six civilians, including children, injured in Aleppo countryside and the number of attacks by Turkish drones increases to three in 24 hours
Aleppo province: A civilian and two children sustained various injuries due to artillery fire by Turkish forces and their proxies on Deir Jamal village in northern Aleppo countryside within areas where regime and Kurdish forces are deployed.
Meanwhile, three civilians were injured in an attack carried out by Turkish forces targeting workers in the vicinity of Tel Rifa’at city, while they were working in agricultural fields.
Furthermore, a Turkish kamikaze drone attacked the vicinity of Tel Rifa’at city.
It is worth noting that the number of drones launched by Turkish forces towards areas where regime and Kurdish forces are deployed has increased to three.
Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that two children and a woman were injured, as a result of Turkish artillery shelling that targeted residential neighbourhoods in Tanab village in Sharan district in the northern countryside of Aleppo, within the areas of deployment of Kurdish and regime forces. The injured were taken to a hospital in the area for treatment.
The shelling coincided with targeting the village with a suicide drone, without information about the extent of the damage.
In a related context, Kurdish forces shot down a kamikaze drone of the Turkish forces in the airspace of Maraanaz village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside.
