Military escalation | H*T*S targets positions of regime forces in Lattakia and the regime shells Idlib and Aleppo

A member of “Al-Jabha Al-Wataniya” was injured under artillery shelling by the regime forces on Kansafra frontline in Idlib countryside, and was taken to a hospital to receive proper medication.

Moreover, regime forces fired heavy artillery shells on Al-Asous and Al-Qasr frontlines western of Aleppo, the vicinity of San Village in Idlib countryside, and agricultural lands near Al-Tofahiya western of Idlib, causing fire.

In return, HTS fired mortar shells on positions of the regime forces in Ain Al-Ghazal Village northern of Lattakia.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 289 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, infiltration operations, gunfire by snipers, bombardment, clashes and kamikaze drone attacks, which left 319 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 126 combatants, including a Turkish soldier, and 136 civilians, including three women and 20 children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

* 26 civilians, including 12 children and two women.

* 204 members of regime forces, including 21 officers.

* 72 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

* Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

* Three members of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”

* One member of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”

* Two jihadists, including a jihadist of Turkish descent.

* A member of “Al-Hamzah” Division.

* Three members of “Al-Sham Corps.”

* One member of the “Public Resistance” which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.

* One member of the “Thowwar Al-Sham” Battalion which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.
