In joint operation between “SDF” and “International Coalition” | Two persons arrested on charges of belonging to “ISIS” cells in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: Special units of SDF, with the participation of the “International Coalition” forces, carried out a raid in the villages of Al-Arishah and Abyad in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and arrested two persons during the raid, one of whom is from Al-Marieaiyah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on charges of belonging to “ISIS” cells.
According to SOHR activists, the past few days have witnessed an intensification of joint security operations between SDF and the “International Coalition” forces in Al-Hasakah countryside, in search of those accused of belonging to “ISIS” cells. This comes in light of the escalation by “ISIS” and the increase in its activity within the areas of the “Autonomous Administration”, targeting combatants and civilians.
On August 26, SDF security units, backed by International Coalition Forces, stormed Safyan town near Al-Shaddadi city in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, arresting two members of ISIS cells. many weapons were found on possession of the arrested persons, and they were taken to a security centre.
