New assassination | Regime lieutenant shot dead in Tartous countryside

Tartous province: Unidentified gunmen shot a regime lieutenant dead in Al-Mantar village which belongs to the municipality of Ain Al-Zarqa in Tartous countryside.

 

Since the beginning of 2024, attacks and assassinations by unidentified gunmen have increased, targeting many officers and members of regime forces, as well as others cooperating with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

 

On August 21, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen opened fire directly on an officer ranked as first lieutenant of the regime forces, in Al-Qonaitara countryside near occupied Syrian Al-Golan, killing him.

The officer hails from Al-Asiba Village in Baniyas district in Tartous countryside.
