“Euphrates Shield” area | Five armed tribesmen and members of Border Guards kil*led in clashes
Aleppo province: The number of people killed in Jarablus has risen to five, who are: three members of Border Guards of the “National Army”, one gunman from Al-Safeera of Al-Jobanat Tribe and a person accused of “smuggling.”
The clashes erupted between members of Al-Jobanat Tribe and the Border Guards, after members of the Border Guards killed a person of Al-Jobanat for charges of “smuggling.”
Meanwhile, members of Al-Jobanat Tribe attacked the headquarters of “Maqar Al-Jabal” Faction in Jarablus City, with machineguns and RPG shells, amid information that both parties brought reinforcements.
On September 2, a member of “Border Guards” of the Turkish-backed “National Army” was killed after being shot by another member of “Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement” near the church in Jarablus eastern of Aleppo in “Euphrates Shield” area, following disputes and quarrels between them over parking spot.
This coincided with the escalating security chaos in areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxy militias.
